On the day of 9/11, with more heartbreaking news yesterday, I’m reminded of how fragile life is — and how deeply we need compassion and the ability to LISTEN and understand points of view different from ours. Having been in the middle of it, working in NYC at the time, I only urge us all to keep the faith, bring your friends and family close and be curious. Open it up to listen and debate. Not sure when we lost that last part but I believe it is what makes our country GREAT!!
